New (Chinese) Year - New Music

The new album "Harmony" from Inner Mongolian singer Sa Dingding is available now in most of the world. We love it, so no apologies for giving it plenty of airplay recently!

Apple iPhone?  iPod Touch?

Enjoy the greatest Chinese music of the 21st century whenever you're in a good internet hotspot!

If your iPhone or iPod Touch is running the current OS3 operating system, simply launch its Safari web browser, type the following address and press Play!    lovechina.asia/mobile

To add our mobile site to your homescreen just press the + button under the screen.

If you have an older iPhone or iPod Touch with the old version OS2 operating system, the best thing is to upgrade it to OS3 via iTunes on your computer (cost about $5). Alternatively, download an internet radio application from the iTunes App Store.

We recommend FStream (Free) or  Shoutcast Radio (Free).
FStream seems the most reliable of the two.  Neither of these two can allow you to use your device for anything else at the same time though. If using Safari browser in OS3, you will be able to use other applications while listening (though not surf the internet, that's a limitation of the device).

To set up FStream, install it from the AppStore and launch it.
Click Favorites > Add new web radio. In the Name box type Love China and in the URL box type the following address, and Save:
http://204.45.1.90/tunein.php/riohag00/playlist.pls
(You do NOT need to add the Format or Bit Rate, these will be detected automatically).  That's it!  Happy listening!

Other portable devices should work too if they have a web browser and media player, but you might need to select an alternative media player from the bottom of our player screen rather than the default one.

LOVE CHINA's DJs don't often talk!

This is because Love China is an international music station.

Even if we announced the music in the main languages of Mandarin, Cantonese, Shanghainese and English, still a third of our listeners would not understand.

The common language is MUSIC!

People who leave song ripping software running for long periods are costing us money in bandwidth & music royalty fees - and wasting valuable listener slots, preventing others listening.

Enjoy the music, but please don't use Love China as a free download site.  Our Engineer is now banning the IP addresses of persistent rippers.
